Our Staff

In Loving Memory of Bert Less
Bert was a lifelong Memphian whose family carried a proud tradition in real estate, spanning both construction and property management. His deep roots in the community and passion for the industry shaped not only his career, but the lives of those who had the privilege to work alongside him.
A graduate of Memphis State (now known as The University of Memphis) with a degree in real estate, Bert combined formal education with a lifetime of hands-on experience. This unique foundation made him a natural leader in the field and a trusted name in the Memphis real estate community.
In 1988, Bert founded Leco Realty, Inc. after seven years of mentorship under his Uncle Sam, who owned an insurance agency and small real estate firm. From those early days, Leco Realty grew into a respected and successful company, built largely on word-of-mouth referrals from satisfied clients and the organizations whose properties he proudly managed.
Bert’s legacy is not only found in the company he built, but in the knowledge, values, and work ethic he instilled in his team. The staff he leaves behind is committed to honoring his memory by continuing to operate Leco Realty with the same integrity, dedication, and care that he demonstrated every day.
His impact will be felt for years to come, both in the community he loved and in the lives of those he mentored.
